Easy Homemade Granola
This delicious combination of seeds, fruit and oats is the perfect way to start the day and the slow-release energy will keep you full until lunch. This base recipe can be varied with other seeds and fruits depending on your preference.
Ingredients
- 280g jumbo oats
- 50g pecans, thinly sliced
- 80g sliced almonds
- 50g pumpkin seeds
- 50g chopped hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 160ml honey, warmed
- 50g puffed rice
- 50g dried cranberries
- 50g sultanas
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 140C.2. Mix all the ingredients except for the dried fruit in a large bowl.3. Spread the mixture on to two baking trays lined with greaseproof paper and put in the oven to bake for 35 minutes.4. Add half of the fruit to each tray and return to the oven for a final 5 minutes.5. Allow to cool completely, then add to an air tight container.
