Perfect Fried Eggs
This is my method for the best fried egg and involves steaming them in their own glass dome. Soft but set whites with cooked but runny yolks. Perfect.
Ingredients
- 1 very fresh egg
- Sunflower oil
- Unsalted butter
- Sea salt flakes
Instructions
1. Warm a frying pan over a low heat for 5 minutes. 2. Add a splash of oil and a little butter.3. Once melted, carefully break the egg into the pan and cover with a glass saucepan lid. 4. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the white has set but the yolk remains runny. 5. Season and serve.
