The best garlic bread
I'm not sure this even constitutes a real recipe but frozen garlic bread makes me mad. This will taste better and cook quicker than any pre-made version, so please try it and I guarantee you'll never go back!
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 70g unsalted butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 loaf baguette
- 4 tbsp parmesan, grated
- 3 tbsp flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp sea salt flakes
Instructions
1. Heat the butter, olive oil, lemon juice and crushed garlic over a low heat until fully melted and combined.2. Split the loaf across its equator and toast the two "crust" sides. 3. Spoon on the garlic butter, then sprinkle over the grated parmesan and parsley. Grill until the cheese just melts.4. Cut each half into 3-4 pieces, top with a few flakes of sea salt and serve.
